Lirac is a large appellation on the western side of the southern Rhone Valley in France. Castel Oualou use sustainable viticulure and traditional wine making techniques to make this elegant blend of Syrah, Grenache and Mourvedre.
A ruby-red colour with brilliant, crimson highlights and on the nose its got elegant, rich, generous red fruit aromas, black pepper aromas, cocoa aromas. Well-balanced, rich, soft, smooth tannins, structured body and good length come through on the palate.
