The grape-varieties used for the Chateau de Sales wines grow on a gravelly and sandy soil with clayey parts. Iron oxide can be noticed, also called iron dirt. Elegant ruby colour. The nose is concentrated and complex due to its red fruit aromas and spicy notes. On the palate it is balanced, round and fleshy. The structure shows great flexibility without being aggressive. Great length on the finish. Ready to drink 2020 – 2022!
82.5% Merlot, 12.5% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon.
