A deep cherry colour with violet coloured notes around the rim. Thanks to the barrel aging the wine has an intense nose of ripe black fruit and well integrated with the toasted, spiced and smoked notes. Full bodied on the palate with very mature and round tannins that give it a very pleasing sweetness. In the long and persistent finish is ripe black fruit perfectly balanced with the toasted character of the French oak.
Selected from century old vineyards with very limited yield, cultivated according to the biodynamic practices.
Aging takes place in new French oak barrels for 16 months. This wine has not been filtered and has been clarified using gentle processes.
