This vintage has added some superb, rich tropical flavours like passionfruit and kiwi, but that lip-smacking freshness is still very much present. This is one of the best value Pouilly Fumes out there.
Pair with delicatessen, seafood, Chavignol (goat cheese).
The Redde family has a long history in the region, dating back to the 17th century, but the estate in its current form has been around since the 1950s. Now Thierry Redde and his sons Sébastien and Romain have propelled the domaine into the top tier of the region’s producers by using low yields, hand-harvesting and meticulous care in the vineyards and the winery in order to reflect the terroir of their stony vineyards.
