St Romain is an appellation in Burgundy renowned for its white wines produced from the Chardonnay grape. This has all the attributes of the classic white Burgundy with brioche, roasted almonds and citrus. Its an exceptional wine and produced in such small quantities, it makes it a collectors item.
Irish born winemaker, Roisin Curley, originally hails from Co.Mayo. She is considered a micro-negociant as she buys small parcels of grapes from growers and bottles them under her own name. She works with conscientious grape growers and focuses on quality.
