Elegant nose of ripe, fleshy fruit. A rich palate with a well balance acidity creates a pure, fresh mouth with a lingering finish. Marries marvelously with fine fish and white meats in creamy sauces.
Can be aged 10-15 years. Store on side between 10-15°C. Ideally served between 8-10°C.

From the deep marl soils of the prestigious Rosacker (a east-southeast facing cru between 260 and 330 meters of altitude and a heavy, stony, calcareous marly-clay soil over a limestone bedrock which guarantees freshness even in a warm vintage like 2011) this full-bodied and powerful dry Riesling has a stunning vital acidity and lingering salinity. The finish is long and complex and very well structured but, maybe, a little bit bitter.”
