Amaren Seleccion de Vinedo

A distinguished red wine from the Rioja Alavesa region of Spain, crafted from a blend of 90% Tempranillo and 10% Garnacha. Produced by Bodegas Amaren as a tribute to the winemaker's mother, this wine is sourced from vines with an average age of 35 years. It undergoes fermentation in concrete tanks followed by 12 months of aging in a combination of French and American oak barrels. It features an intense cherry-red color and a complex bouquet of ripe red fruits, blackberries, and plums, complemented by spicy notes of vanilla and cinnamon. On the palate, it is silky and well-structured, offering a harmonious balance of fruit and toasted oak with a long, persistent finish. Ideal for pairing with roast lamb, red meats, and aged cheeses.
