Bellafonte, Montefalco Sagrantino 'Collenottolo'

A distinguished red wine from the Umbria region of Italy, crafted from 100% Sagrantino grapes. Produced by Tenuta Bellafonte, this Montefalco Sagrantino undergoes spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts before aging for 36 months in large Slavonian oak barrels and an additional 10 months in the bottle. It features an intense ruby color with a complex bouquet of iris, lavender, blueberry jam, and sweet spices. On the palate, it is full-bodied and elegant with a remarkable tannic structure balanced by fruit and delicate toasted notes. Ideal for pairing with beef, venison, or matured cheeses.
