Böjt Egri Bikavér Superior Selection is a bold and expressive red blend from Hungary’s Eger region, crafted with a backbone of Kékfrankos (Blaufränkisch), supported by Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Zweigelt, and Blauburger.
On the nose, it opens with peppery spice, clove, and dark cherry, followed by hints of plum and chocolate. The palate is vibrant and structured, offering a lively interplay of ripe red and black fruits, warm spice, and a touch of earthiness, all wrapped in fine tannins and a long, satisfying finish. Aged for 18 months in oak and further in bottle, it shows both power and finesse.
