A classic Left Bank Bordeaux with poise and pedigree, Château Beaumont 2014 delivers structure, elegance, and age-worthy charm. A Cru Bourgeois estate with deep gravel soils, Beaumont blends Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Petit Verdot to craft a wine that reflects the finesse of Haut-Médoc.
Appearance:
Medium ruby with a garnet rim. Clear and gently evolved.
Nose:
Lifted aromas of blackcurrant, red plum, and dried cherry, layered with cedar, tobacco leaf, and graphite. Hints of leather, forest floor, and subtle oak spice add complexity.
Palate:
Medium-bodied and finely structured, with ripe red and black fruit framed by firm tannins and fresh acidity. The texture is smooth yet assertive, with hints of liquorice, dried herbs, and pencil shavings on the savoury finish. Elegant and restrained, showing classic Médoc character.
Vinification:
Traditional vinification with temperature-controlled fermentation and ageing in French oak barrels (30–40% new) for 12–14 months. Sustainable viticulture certified by Terra Vitis.
Pairing:
Perfect with roast beef, grilled lamb chops, or duck breast. Also pairs beautifully with hard cheeses like Comté or aged Gouda, and mushroom-based dishes.
