Chateau Lynch Bages 2017

With its blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (70%), Merlot (24%), Cabernet Franc (4%) and Petit Verdot (2%), the Château Lynch-Bages 2017 reveals a precise bouquet with pure and fresh fruit that managed to achieve perfect maturity on time for harvest. The nose offers nice notes of black berries, cassis and black cherry, giving way to aromas of sweet spice. On the palate, the wine offers a broad texture, characterised by rich aromas upon tannins with a beautifully chewy texture that evolve great flexibility. The finish offers a very pleasant and persistent length. A perfectly accomplished wine from Lynch-Bages.

"Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2017 Lynch Bages sashays out of the glass with flamboyant scents of baked blackcurrants, blackberry preserves and mulberries plus touches of lavender, dark chocolate, star anise and unsmoked cigars. Medium to full-bodied, the palate has bags of class and finesse with firm, finely-grained tannins and seamless freshness, finishing long and fragrant."
