Diamantopetra Red is a combination of two charming, distinctive red grape varieties. The Cretan Mandilari offers the strength, tannins and acidity while Syrah brings richness and firmness to the wine. Ruby red in colour this wine has pronounced aromas of ripe red and black fruits like cherry, plum and blackberry. Also showing violet, crushed black pepper, toast, mocha and chocolate notes, the wine has different layers of complexity. It is dry on the palate and has rounded and firm tannins, a good acidity and a long and persistent aftertaste.
