Produced by Dog Point Vineyard, one of Marlborough’s most respected estates, this wine is made from 100% Pinot Noir, grown on clay hill slopes in the southern valleys of the region. The vineyard uses sustainable and organic practices, with vines dating back to 1983 and six different Pinot Noir clones contributing to the blend.
Appearance:
Deep ruby with a vibrant core. Clear and youthful.
Nose:
Lifted aromas of black cherry, red berry, and plum, layered with rose petals, violets, and dried herbs. Subtle notes of bramble, baking spice, and forest floor add depth.
Palate:
Medium-bodied and supple, with silky tannins and bright acidity. Flavours of red cherry, cranberry, and brown spice are framed by a fine-boned structure and earthy undertones. Elegant and energetic, with a long, savoury finish.
Vinification:
Hand-harvested and hand-sorted fruit, with 25% whole bunch fermentation in small open-top stainless steel fermenters. Aged in French oak barrels (30% new) for 18 months. Bottled unfined and unfiltered to preserve purity and texture.
Pairing:
Perfect with duck breast, venison, lamb, or mushroom risotto. Also pairs beautifully with grilled salmon, beetroot dishes, and soft cheeses.

A standout New Zealand Pinot Noir—perfumed, poised, and full of character. Drink now or cellar for added complexity.
