Domaine Famille Paquet Mâcon-Villages “Nos Cinq Terroirs”

This wine brings together fruit from five villages—Cruzille, Lugny, Prissé, Loché, and La Roche-Vineuse—each contributing its own nuance to the final blend. The result is a beautifully balanced white Burgundy that’s both expressive and refined. Organically farmed and vinified with minimal intervention, it captures the purity of southern Burgundy terroir.
Appearance:
Pale gold with silver highlights. Bright and youthful.
Nose:
Fresh aromas of lime, lemon zest, and crushed stone, layered with white flowers, ripe pear, and a hint of peach. A subtle saline edge adds lift and complexity.
Palate:
Dry, medium-bodied, and precise, with a lively attack and creamy mid-palate. Flavours of citrus, orchard fruit, and mineral are framed by crisp acidity and a long, chiseled finish. Elegant and mouthwatering, with a fine balance of freshness and texture.
Vinification:
Grapes harvested from vines planted between 1929 and 2015. Fermented and matured sur lie, with 75% in stainless steel and 25% in large oak foudres, preserving fruit purity while adding subtle depth.
Pairing:
Ideal as an apéritif, or paired with shellfish, grilled chicken, veal cutlets, sushi, or mushroom risotto. Also excellent with soft cheeses and vegetarian dishes.
