Domaine Larue Chassagne-Montrache
A distinguished white wine from the Chassagne-Montrachet appellation in Burgundy, France, crafted from 100% Chardonnay grapes. Produced by Domaine Larue from vines planted between 1977 and 2018 on clay-limestone soils, this wine is fermented and aged for 10 months in oak barrels, with 20% new oak. It features a clear, brilliant appearance with an intense nose of white flowers, honeysuckle, citrus, and ripe apples, complemented by subtle notes of toasted hazelnut and fresh butter. On the palate, it is round and generous with a fleshy yet mineral texture, balanced acidity, and a long, elegant finish. Ideal for pairing with poultry in creamy sauces, veal, freshwater fish, or mature cheeses like Comté.
