A pure Tempranillo (Tinta del País) from old bush vines in La Horra and Roa, aged 14 months in oak. Corimbo captures the freshness and finesse of Ribera del Duero with remarkable clarity and depth.
Appearance: Medium-high intensity red with a bright core and ruby rim.
Nose: Intense and layered. Ripe red fruits—cherry, raspberry, and cranberry—are lifted by aromatic herbs, mineral notes, and a whisper of fresh pistachio. The oak is seamlessly integrated, adding subtle spice and warmth.
Palate: Juicy and elegant. Red fruit dominates, with hints of blackberry and cherry compote. The tannins are polished and fine-grained, supporting a long, harmonious finish. Despite the warm vintage, the wine retains striking freshness and balance.
Vinification: 100% Tinta del País. Hand-harvested, spontaneously fermented in stainless steel, malolactic in French oak. Aged 14 months in barrique (80% French, 20% American). Natural stabilisation and egg-white fining.
Pairing: A natural match for grilled lamb, slow-cooked beef, or mushroom and lentil stew. Also pairs beautifully with Manchego, chorizo, or roasted red peppers.
