Enrique Mendoza Quebradas
A powerful and complex red wine from the Alicante region of Spain, crafted from 100% Monastrell grapes sourced from the stony soils of the Las Quebradas vineyard. This artisanal wine undergoes fermentation in open-top wooden tanks and is aged for 15 to 16 months in French oak barrels. It features a deep violet-red color and an intense bouquet of ripe black fruits, balsamic nuances, and Mediterranean herbs like thyme and lavender, underpinned by a distinct minerality and smoky notes. On the palate, it is full-bodied and fresh, showcasing silky tannins and a long, persistent finish with hints of chocolate and coffee. Ideal for pairing with rich dishes such as roast lamb, game, or beef short ribs.
