Created in 1986, Frank Phelan is the esteemed second wine of Château Phélan Ségur, named after the son of the estate's founder. This 2018 vintage from the Saint-Estèphe appellation in Bordeaux is a classic blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, offering an intense ruby color and a complex bouquet of blackberries, cassis, and cedar. On the palate, it is medium-to-full-bodied and supple, featuring silky tannins and a persistent finish with notes of dark fruit and subtle spice. Having undergone 14 months of aging in French oak, its roundness and fruit-forward character make it approachable from a young age.
