Garzon Cabernet Franc Reserve

An elegant and complex red wine from the Maldonado region of Uruguay, crafted from 100% Cabernet Franc by Bodega Garzón. This Reserve wine is fermented in concrete tanks and aged for 6 to 12 months in large, untoasted French oak casks to preserve its varietal character. It features an intense purple color with violet highlights and a fragrant bouquet of ripe cherries, raspberries, and forest fruits, complemented by mineral notes of ripe peppers and spices. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied and well-structured, offering silky tannins and flavors of blackberries, eucalyptus, and a hint of chocolate. The finish is long and persistent with a refreshing acidity. Ideal for pairing with roasted pork ribs, lamb stew, or mushroom risotto.
