Gomez Cruzado Blanco

Gómez Cruzado is a century-old house located in Haro. Founded in 1886, today it is the boutique winery of el Barrio de la Estación. This team of young wine-makers is dedicated to the traditional Riojan style of fine wines.
Mainly Viura, with 25% Tempranillo Blanco, this is a fresh white Rioja made in the Burgundian style. On the palare you will get lots of minerality with a rich creaminess. Grapes are harvested from a single plot, but vinified and aged separately before blending. Five months' lees ageing (half in barrel, half in concrete) gives a textured palate, with subtle oak integration. Citrus and stone fruit linger across the long finish.
