Hunter's Gewürztraminer

Fresh pear and apple characters fill the front palate and finishes with some sweet floral characters to balance. The palate has a unique freshness that is due to the free draining soils found at the growing site. Excellent wine that is full of punch and finishes off dry.

This is a single vineyard wine made with fruit from the Rapaura Road vineyard, next to the winery.

Hunter’s is a winemaking family and their passion is making quality wines that are synonymous with quality and innovation. Hunter's is the only Marlborough vineyard established in the 1970s to still be owned by its original family. Quality and sustainability have been Hunter’s cornerstones since their first vintage. They are a family winery, and want to protect the land for future generations. Hunter's stand alongside Sustainable Winegrowers NZ and have evolved their approach to sustainable winemaking through mechanical weeding, composting and careful waste management.
