Lafage La Retro 1L
Made from grapes grown at the bottom of the hills which had ripened less quickly than other plots, these wines would be used in local house wines a tradition very popular in the Roussillon. These vines, often more vigorous and of different grape varieties, can not be used to make the DOC varietal wines but instead table wine is lower in alcohol, with a lighter colour with lots of fruit perfect for any family meal.
A light ruby red colour with brilliant reflections. Spicy and subtly fruity nose. The palate is supple, fresh and light, slightly spicy, with a nice balance.
