Les Tours de Laroque
The second wine of the historic Château Laroque in Saint-Émilion, Les Tours de Laroque is a distinguished red wine crafted primarily from Merlot with a touch of Cabernet Franc. This wine captures the elegance of its Grand Vin counterpart, offering a refined bouquet of dark fruits like blackberries and plums, accented by subtle notes of cherry, liquorice, and cedar. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and velvety, featuring silky tannins, balanced acidity, and a fresh salinity derived from the estate's limestone-rich terroir. Aged for approximately 12 to 14 months in oak barrels and vats, it presents a harmonious profile with a persistent, fruit-driven finish. Ideal for pairing with charcuterie, grilled red meats, or mushrooms.
