Louis Jadot's Découverte Vineyard located in Oregan's Willamette Valley is a true jewel box - with east-facing slopes at 600 to 690 feet on volcanic soil, the terroir is exquisite. The resulting Chardonnay is fresh, ripe, balanced and complex: always a top example of the vintage. A complex nose lemon zest, orange blossom, jasmine and fern. The palate is pure and elegant, with fresh orchard fruit notes enhanced by a vibrant minerality.
