This is a traditionally made dry version of Marsala wine, produced in the region surrounding the Italian city of Marsala in Sicily. Marsala first received Denominazione di Origine Controllata status in 1969. Aged for over 2 years in oak casks and for at least 1 month in the bottle this wine is made using native Grillo, Catarratto and Inzolia grapes
