Matrot Maranges

A robust red wine from the Maranges appellation in the southern Côte de Beaune, Burgundy, crafted from 100% Pinot Noir. Produced by the fifth generation of the Matrot family from vines averaging over 30 years old, this wine features a brilliant ruby color and a complex bouquet of red cherries, strawberries, and raspberries, complemented by notes of black pepper, herbs, and a smoky undertow. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and concentrated with a savory character, offering supple tannins and a persistent, fresh finish. Ideal for pairing with roasted meats, feathered game, or mushroom-based dishes.
