Raventos i Blanc, Blanc de Blanc

Blanc de Blancs is a sparkling wine marked by the typicity of its place of origin, the Vinya del Llac, a vineyard over 40 years’ old making structured, fresh and complex sparkling wine, the perfect alternative to Champagne. Made with indigenous grapes Xarello, Macabeu, Parellada and the new addition of Malvasia de Sitges in 2021, a grape they brought back from the brink of extinction. This is a structured wine with lots of citrus, green apple and pear. Raventos I Blanc made quite a stir by exiting the Cava DO over a decade ago. They fought to create a new DO that favoured making wines using only indigenous grapes, paying growers fairly, organic certification and a maximum yield per hectare.
