Teeling Blackpitts Cask Strength Peated Single Malt

A unique bottling of Irish whiskey at its finest! For this release, Teeling have paid homage to the Big Smoke and the iconic Poolbeg chimneys with a cask strength bottling of their award-winning Blackpitts Peated Single Malt. Double distilled using heavily peated malted barley and matured exclusively in ex-bourbon casks before being bottled at a cask strength of 56.5% ABV with no chill filtration. This one is simply put full of smoke flavour like no other!

Distinct bonfire smokey earthiness with underlying hints of orchard fruit and maple syrup on the nose. The palate is filled with charred apple and pear fruit notes are interwoven with vibrant peat smoke, salt and lavender. The finish has dry wood spice fading to a long smokey, savoury finish
