Ugalde Rioja Crianza
The Ugalde Crianza is a blend of Tempranillo and Garnacha grapes that are aged for 12 months in American oak barrels and then for an additional 6 months in the bottle. The result is a wine with a medium-bodied and elegant profile.
Aromas of ripe red and black fruits, such as cherries, plums, and blackberries dominate, as well as notes of vanilla, spice, and toast. On the palate, the wine is smooth and velvety, with well-integrated tannins and a long finish.
A versatile wine that can be enjoyed with a variety of foods. It is particularly well-suited to pairing with grilled meats, roasted vegetables, and tapas.
Bodegas Ugalde is a family-owned winery located in the heart of the Rioja wine region. The winery was founded in 1852 by Don Felipe Ugalde, and has been passed down from generation to generation.
